About the Author: Donald L Ewert

Don has been actively involved in foreign trade for 35 years. The majority of this time has been spent assisting companies in international operations, finance, shipping, selling and the purchasing of manufactured goods and value-added agricultural products.

In the process of helping companies expand their international markets, Don has authored 12 books on international strategic planning, market entry, finance, letters of credit, Incoterms, order processing, documentation, shipping, NAFTA and offshore purchasing. During the past 25 years, over 100,000 companies and their employees have benefitted from Don's reference books and educational programs.

"Simply put, my mission is prepare busy people to understand and profitably conduct international trade in as little time and inconvenience as possible. Our focus is on practical application and key do's and don'ts."

Don continues to concentrate on the design and delivery of international trade educational programs for use in seminars, distance learning courses and economic development entities.

Don's personal career experience includes manufacturing, administration and sales positions, entrepreneurial success an ocean and air freight forwarding, a seminar business leader and instructur, and as an international trade and transportation consultant.
